They’re covered in a bright blood splatter that covers their right side, hands and the short bat they grip tightly. Wearing an adorable and slightly menacing pink-shelled turtle hat with white ruffles atop their head, a pink bow with a star in the center rests under their chin with a small bottle dangling from it. Chiitan is a Japanese mascot and self-declared unofficial representative of the city of Susaki. A ‘0-year-old fairy baby’, Chiitan gained popularity (and won our hearts) with their wild social media posts of them performing chaotic, clumsy and sometimes violent stunts.
